Terms and conditions
General conditions for use of the website and, where activated, for the purchase and use of ONBOARD CLUB digital products.
Last updated: 12 October 2026.
1. Seller identity
ONBOARD CLUB is a brand of Mascia Luciani, Via Castellano 1572, 63811 Sant’Elpidio a Mare (FM), Italy. Italian tax code: LCNMSC79D45I324Y. Contact: Contact page.
Italian VAT number (P.IVA): 02619120443. Any certified email address (PEC), Business Register/REA details and further professional information will be indicated if and when applicable.
2. Scope
These terms govern use of the website and, for products with an active checkout, the contractual relationship relating to the purchase of ONBOARD CLUB software, digital tools, downloadable content, licences and ancillary services. Specific conditions stated on an individual product page prevail over these general terms in the event of inconsistency.
3. Product status
Not every product displayed on the website is necessarily available for purchase. Labels such as “Coming soon”, “Checkout in preparation”, “Request access”, “Private preview” or equivalent wording indicate that a product is not yet available for direct purchase or is subject to a different access process. The existence of an information page does not in itself constitute an immediately purchasable offer.
4. Prices and taxes
The applicable price is the price displayed on the product page and in the checkout at the time of the order. Any taxes, charges or tax information will be shown in accordance with the regime applicable to the seller and the transaction. The seller’s Italian VAT number (P.IVA) is 02619120443.
5. Order and conclusion of the contract
For products with an active checkout, the order is submitted through the stated purchase flow. The contract is considered concluded when payment has been authorised and the buyer receives confirmation of the order or availability of the product, unless expressly stated otherwise in the checkout.
6. Payments
Online payments may be handled through Stripe. ONBOARD CLUB does not directly store full payment-card details when they are handled by the payment provider. Use of the payment service may also be subject to the provider’s terms.
7. Delivery of digital products
Digital products may be supplied by download, link, digital folder, access to an application or another method described on the product page. Delivery times and methods are those indicated at the time of purchase. The buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the email address and other information necessary for delivery.
8. Compatibility and requirements
Before purchasing, the user should verify the technical requirements, operating systems, formats, offline/online operation, languages, currencies and any device or vessel limits stated on the product page. ONBOARD CLUB provides this information to support an informed decision before ordering.
9. Licence of use
Unless specific conditions state otherwise, the licence is personal or linked to the purchasing entity, non-transferable and limited to the number of vessels, users or devices stated in the product description. Resale, sublicensing, distribution, unauthorised sharing, commercial copying, use for third-party clients or fleet use beyond the limits of the purchased licence are prohibited.
Backup copies are permitted to the extent necessary for legitimate use of the product and in accordance with the applicable specific conditions.
10. Right of withdrawal and digital content
Where the buyer is a consumer, the rights provided by the rules on distance contracts apply. For digital content supplied without a tangible medium, any loss of the right of withdrawal after performance begins may occur only where the legal requirements are met, including the consumer’s prior express consent to begin performance during the withdrawal period, acknowledgement of the loss of the right and the relevant confirmation.
If those requirements are not properly collected in the purchase flow, the rights provided by applicable law remain available.
11. Conformity of digital content and services
Consumers retain the mandatory legal guarantees provided by applicable law for digital content and digital services. Nothing in these terms limits those rights where the law makes them mandatory.
12. Support and updates
The support included, its duration and scope and any update policy are stated on the individual product page. Unless otherwise indicated, initial support does not include ongoing consultancy, data entry or reconstruction, customisation, new features, unlimited training or operational work on the customer’s project.
13. Nature of ONBOARD CLUB tools
ONBOARD CLUB products are organisational, management and decision-support tools. They do not replace professional accounting, surveys, safety inspections, the work of a qualified surveyor, legal, tax or insurance advice, or other regulated professional services. Operational decisions regarding the vessel remain the responsibility of the user and the appointed professionals.
14. Liability
ONBOARD CLUB aims to provide products consistent with the characteristics described. Mandatory liabilities imposed by law remain unaffected. To the extent permitted by law, ONBOARD CLUB is not liable for losses arising from misuse, incorrect data entered by the user, unauthorised changes, incompatible environments, failure to make backups or technical/professional decisions made solely on the basis of a digital tool.
15. Intellectual property
ONBOARD CLUB trademarks, text, software, models, documents, graphics, methods and materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Purchasing a product grants a licence of use within the stated limits and does not transfer intellectual-property rights.
16. Complaints and contact
For support, complaints or enquiries concerning a purchase, you can write to Contact page, stating, where available, the order number, product and description of the issue.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
Relationships are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to any mandatory rights granted to consumers by the law applicable in their own country. For consumers, the competent court remains the court determined by mandatory consumer-protection rules. Specific conditions may be agreed for B2B relationships in the relevant contract or order.
18. Amendments
These terms may be updated to reflect changes in products, sales processes or applicable law. The conditions applicable to a purchase are those made available when the contract is concluded, except for changes required by mandatory law.
